Parfums Dusita and its founder and perfumer Pissara Umavijani proudly present Cavatina, the eleventh creation in the house’s French Haute Perfumery Collection. Conceived as an olfactory paradise of pure delight and contentment, Parfums Dusita Cavatina bridges classic French perfume heritage and Siamese aromatic treasures.
Inspired as ever by the poetry of her father, Mme Umavijani composed a fragrance that aims to celebrate the joy of life, as well as humankind’s limitless capacity for love and kindness.
Cavatina’s Story and Inspiration
Cavatina is music to the soul, a fragrant hymn to human compassion conducted with the spirit of “joie de vivre”. Starting with my love for vintage muguet-centered scents, I composed new floral accords that ended up dancing together in a melodious scent that became Cavatina.
Wishing to give the fragrance a modern touch, I created my own Muguet Accord, and used it like the main color in an aquarelle painting: softly blended with a variety of other floral notes (Jasmine, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Tea Rose Accord), accented with luminous aldehydes. Warm Heliotrope, sensual Vanilla and aromatic Siamese Woods complete a perfume that is altogether current and timeless.

Olfactive Notes
The opening, a symphony of sparkling, invigorating citrusy notes (Calabrian Bergamot, Chinese Litsea Cubeba, Paraguayan Petitgrain) greets our exclusive, resolutely modern Muguet Accord. At the Heart, our very own Tea Rose Accord harmonically blends with fresh, seductive floral touches (Egyptian Tuberose and Jasminum grandiflorum, Indonesian Ylang-Ylang). The Base Notes, the airy muskiness of Indian Ambrette, the soft woodiness of Siamese Wood and the deep sensuality of Madagascar Vanilla.
