Reunion:
seeing each other again, meeting again. After more than 40 years, the two independent master perfumers Jean-Claude Ellena and Lucien Ferrero have worked together on an incredible project. The result is two brand new fragrances: C'est.Mutine and C'est.Rebelle. The representation of Belle Parfumerie. This extraordinary event shaped the entire collection by master perfumer Lucien Ferrero, culminating in ‘Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero’.
Inspiration
A state of enthusiasm in which the artist creates his work. "We met in 1968. We were both students at the perfumery school in Geneva. This is where we began our first attempts at perfume creation. Our friendship blossomed. We were young rebels and “mutineers” who developed a new idea of perfumery. A great team, hungry to break new ground. We shared everything: experiences, doubts, failures and successes. We worked together for many years, but we also gained our own experiences.
We always stayed in touch and continued to share our research and victories with each other. After all this time, nothing has changed. In fact, it seemed completely natural and simply exciting to work together again. Our goal was to create fragrances that perfectly describe our rebellious spirit as creators of fragrant emotions."
The line has been expanded with three new raw materials created by Lucien Ferrero in collaboration with Accords et Parfums. Three alcoholates from orange blossom, jasmine and rose concretes. Raw materials that embody the elegance of classic fragrances. Using these raw materials as a starting point, Lucien Ferrero and Jean-Claude Ellena have worked on their latest creations, which are an expression of Belle Parfumerie: C'est.Mutine and C'est.Rebelle.
Our new creations.
The creation of a new fragrance tells a true story that involves all the senses. Lucien Ferrero, Jean-Claude Ellena They represent the reflection of eternal youth. Feeling uninhibited, fearless and free; joie de vivre; being curious and discovering and exploring new paths, breaking the rules. The opposite of nostalgia. Free spirits do not look back on the past with regret, but use it to share their knowledge and experience.
