OHTOP is a French-Korean brand founded in Paris in 2019 by Romeo Oh. OHTOP explores the creative connections between fashion and beauty through fragrances and skincare products. The brand's philosophy is that life is a constant search for style, which in turn is the result of a passionate quest and an expression of personal courage.

Romeo Oh

Born in Korea and living in Paris since the '90s, Romeo Oh has spent more than 25 years in the fashion industry. In Paris, he founded a showroom with the aim of discovering young talent in the fashion industry and helping them launch their careers. After more than two decades of putting others in the spotlight, Romeo decided to write his own story and express his creativity. His fashion experience has led him to view style as a form of self-presentation, which he now incorporates into his fragrances. With these ‘olfactory garments’, Romeo wants to inspire everyone to express their individuality with style and freedom in every aspect of life.


OHTOP is a conceptual niche brand for anyone who wants to adapt their individuality to their appearance. Romeo gives us much more than a perfume and more than a simple means of seduction; he sees himself more as a stylist. He offers to share this experience to go further; to dress beyond physical appearance. ‘My goal is to create an olfactory wardrobe that complements and individualises an appearance, giving it a dreamlike dimension, a finishing touch that envelops the attitude and allows you to manifest your true nature and style.’


Environment

OHTOP is a small niche brand, but we have placed biodiversity, sustainable innovation, climate protection and the power of change at the heart of everything we do. We have chosen to use the most natural, non-toxic and traceable ingredients to make our perfumes. Sustainability doesn't stop with ingredients. Packaging and production play a big role in a brand's overall carbon footprint. Our zamak cap and refillable glass bottle are 100% recyclable and use very little energy. We have also taken up the challenge of sustainability by using recycled materials that are biodegradable or can be recycled after use, such as 100% recyclable paper, starch-based cellophane and 0% plastic parts. The production of a perfume is a complicated process, but that does not mean it cannot be done ethically and transparently. At OHTOP, we have taken the time to ensure that all our ingredients are clearly listed, sourced from sustainable production and safe to use on the skin.’
