Madness in a bottle.
Inspiration: Creativity needs madness
There comes a moment when we have to break the rules and stop being good in order to find our sense of style. A touch of madness is necessary to be creative, even if it seems strange and confusing to the world.
Olfactory style: a woody curiosity
A breathtakingly creative fragrance, uncompromising and full of boldness. Paranoïaque brings together radical contrasts and combines citrus fruits, spices, plants, flowers and woods to harmonise chaos.
In Romeo's words: ‘Completely crazy and unpredictable, the olfactory embodiment of exaggeration. A true work of art that is nevertheless easy to wear.’
Perfumer
Romeo Oh in collaboration with the Carbonnel team: I work on instinct and I am curious. I like the primitive and I understand that we cannot control nature because we are part of nature. We all have beliefs and behaviours that lead us to a certain form of paranoia. Certainly to varying degrees, but isn't it precisely these forms of madness that make us different and important? The connection between madness and creation is not new. History is full of big names who embody the mad artist, without boundaries, without a superego and without social blinders. Paranoia is a blessing when it becomes the unique pretext for all free forms of creativity.
