A Noctural Enigma
Midnight Omen is a richly layered woody amber fragrance that evokes the pull of the unknown. Enigmatic and bold, it hints at omens — good or bad — and keeps the wearer guessing. Seduction, danger, intrigue: each note whispers a secret.
A powerful composition, Midnight Omen opens with bright mandarin, unfolds into a heart of iris and violet, and settles on a base of suede-like leather and rare Nepalese sandalwood.
Perfumer Emilie Bouge
“I wanted to create an amber woody fragrance of rare depth. Midnight Omen highlights iris — the richest raw material in perfumery — leather and moss. At the heart of the fragrance, I worked the leather in a suede-like way, blending it with violet notes, cashmere wood and Nepalese sandalwood, an exceptional raw material. In the base, a moss accord — complete with patchouli, ambroxan and musks — lends a unique depth to the fragrance.”

Mehr über Trudon
Shortly before the ascension to the throne of France by the Sun King, Louis XIV, the master established a small manufactory bearing his name, thus laying the foundations for a long tradition. His son Jacques continued his father's craft with the same passion and commitment to quality, and in 1687 his outstanding skills led to his being invited to the Court of Versailles, where he became the King's purveyor. In 1719, the Maison Trudon was officially appointed royal wax manufacturer. The wax and candle business flourished and the company continued for centuries.
Today, Maison Trudon is France's oldest candle manufacturer and has created candles of the highest quality for major houses such as Hermès, Guerlain and Dior, always keeping in mind the traditions of the House of Trudon.
