Sensatio Paris - Cumbawa wood
The cumbawa (Citrus hystrix) has a subtle bitter and tart flavour. Its peel is often used in the kitchen to flavour a variety of sweet and savoury dishes, enhancing their taste. The inspiration for this fragrance comes from Sacha's ingenious use of combawa in his culinary creations, which emphasises the unique aspect of this citrus fruit.
The fresh and mysterious fragrance reveals tangy citrus notes that offer a captivating intensity and persistence.
The design
The design of Sensatio Paris offers the opportunity to harmoniously immerse oneself in the refined worlds of gastronomy and perfumery. The logo perfectly embodies this symbiosis, where you can subtly recognise a fork delicately grasping a rose, symbolising the subtle combination of culinary delights and olfactory delights. This artistic representation invites you to explore the intimate connections between the two worlds and offers a unique sensory experience where the senses awaken and intertwine in an intoxicating dance of flavours and aromas.
The fragrances
David and Sacha Perrin developed the fragrances together with the Robertet perfumers. The values of Robertet and the predominantly natural raw materials used there were the driving force behind this decision.
Robertet, which is based in Grasse in the south of France, is renowned for its expertise and range of high-quality raw materials. Sacha and David worked with perfumers Serge De Oliveira and Manon Coen.
The choice of raw materials was important to them in order to convey the link between the fragrances and the culinary creation as naturally as possible.
