With Myrrhiad, Black Collection presents a successful and at the same time very intimate myrrh composition.
The history of myrrh is as old as that of perfume. The Egyptians knew and appreciated this resin thousands of years ago. They used myrrh as an ingredient in kyphi, the sacred incense mixture of kings.
Myrrhiad is warm, balsamic and sensually composed. An oriental perfume that celebrates all the facets of this historic resin essence. A leathery note combines with black tea and blends into a mixture of various vanilla aromas and liquorice.
Modern phytoparfumery
The term ‘art’ primarily encompasses the products of the ‘fine arts’: architecture, sculpture, painting, music, dance and literature. Film is also often included as the seventh art.
The Black Collection comprises ten fragrance creations. What makes them special is that all the perfumes contain natural, organic plant ingredients combined with synthetic fragrance molecules – a synergy of natural, often organic essences and synthetic accords (phytoparfumery) that reflect the imagination of their creator, Pierre Guillaume.
Each of the Black Collection fragrances contains only two to three essences, breaking with the classic fragrance pyramid. The result is an elegant and unmistakably clear identity.
