Parfums MDCI Paris - Invasion Barbare

The composer

Since childhood, young Parisian Stéphanie Bakouche has had a deep passion for perfumes. After graduating from the renowned ISIPCA, the world's leading school for perfumers, she created unique fragrances, freely following her intuition and imagination to capture pure emotions in her creations.

She has acquired a wealth of creativity through her many travels and numerous experiences with other cultures. Her preferences lean towards woody, oriental fragrances, which she particularly likes to combine with herbs and spices.

The composition

‘Invasion Barbare’ is an elegant and soulful portrait of a true dream man. He embodies warmth, intelligence and sensitivity as well as masculine strength. Despite his soulful exterior, there is something rough and barbaric hidden beneath. Like the perfect man, ‘Invasion Barbare’ combines simple elegance with a warm and mesmerising depth.

The composition is based on the contrast between lively freshness and soothing warmth. The spicy opening fluctuates between refreshing citrus notes, lavender, spices, vanilla and woody nuances. The fragrance is an olfactory masterpiece, a truly fascinating scent. With its soft and elegant character, it has a hypnotic depth.

This fragrance can and should be used as a unisex fragrance.

The bottle

This glass bottle by Parfums MDCI is decorated with a red gold band. The shape is inspired by ancient Doric columns, with a rounded capital and base. This bottle can replace both the crystal and Limoges edition bottles.

The inspiration

Parfums MDCI Paris were significantly inspired by the fascinating and magical era of the French and Italian Renaissance.

The creations of this traditional perfume house were influenced by the ‘Galerie d'Apollon’ in the Louvre in Paris, the ‘Musei dei Uffizzi’ in Florence and the Imperial Treasury of the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, as well as influences from Greek and Roman antiquity.

As a tribute to the timeless works of art of Western civilisation and the unrivalled luxury that kings, princes and princes accumulated over decades and centuries, modern interpretations were created as an expression of the highest precision and perfect beauty.
