Percival is a modern and elegant perfume whose name evokes the mythical thoroughbreds of the ‘Haras de France’. It is subtly balanced with citrus and aromatic notes on a woody base. This offspring of Parfums de Marly exudes a fresh, sensual and elegant fragrance that will linger in the memory for a long time.
Percival's signature
The top notes include bergamot and mandarin, refined with aromatic nuances to create a unique combination. The heart notes, which give Percival its character and depth, blend with natural jasmine, violet and geranium. This trio is also combined with lavender, coriander and cinnamon. On the skin, musk blends with pepper and fir balsam. To emphasise these notes, woody spices are also revealed in the base. The selection of fragrance notes includes incomparable molecules from the Maison Firmenich, such as Clearwood, a new stylistic device in the perfumer's palette that opens up new possibilities.
This allows them to work better with the woody character of patchouli, with hedione, which is so typical of the olfactory signature of Parfums de Marly, and with ambrox, which gives Percival its extraordinary power and unique texture.
