Parfums de Marly's fifth creation, ‘Godolphin’, was named after the famous Berber stallion ‘Godolphin Barb’, the thoroughbred ancestor of so many award-winning racehorses.
Fine spices form the opening notes of the fragrance: thyme, saffron, cypress and green notes intermingle here in an overall soft and rounded composition. Restrained spiciness with a fresh touch is immediately undermined by fruity-floral accents. And then the leather notes appear, delicately accentuated by cedarwood and softly underpinned by iris, musk, ambergris and vanilla.
Very refined, very distinguished... like the idealistic fragrance portrait of a top-class horse, 'Godolphin' by Parfums de Marly reflects the powerful elegance of this famous horse.
