Maurizio Lembo had a specific image in mind when he imagined the perfume ‘Caldo Legnoso’ – the warm wood: a strong and confident man standing like an oak tree in the desert. An intimate warmth that should be lived and expressed in every moment of our lives.
This woody warmth of Caldo Legnoso was recreated with notes of ambergris, benzoin, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, vetiver and patchouli.

Maurizio Lembo, owner of Officina delle Essenze: When I started the I Caldi range, I thought of a few fragrances that could express the feeling of warmth. From this starting point, I explored the different fragrance families and subfamilies, blended precious raw materials and tried to find that fine line where our sense of smell meets the unconscious. Each of us carries images of this warmth in our personal memories. I have highlighted some of them so that you may recognise them.
