The eau de toilette opens with tart cassis in the top note. Green, spicy notes of pepper and geranium lend the floral bouquet a natural freshness. This contrasts with an earthy, mossy base, deepened by Sulawesi patchouli and resinous amber notes.
About the perfumer
We worked with Philippe Paparella, a senior perfumer at renowned perfume manufacturer Symrise. He was originally based in Dubai, where he launched a number of well-known fragrances for Hermatica and Memo Paris.
With Rose Dunes, Philippe has adapted a classic Middle Eastern theme in his own unique way to create a universal, modern appeal. The fragrance is an opulent ode to the mysterious beauty of the Arabian desert. A fragrant symbol of the mystical ‘desert rose’. This rose is not a real flower, but a unique rose-like formation made of crystallised minerals.

An environmentally conscious collection
"We always use the finest ingredients in exceptional fragrance concentrations and strive to source them through environmentally friendly practices.
Our Rose Dunes collection contains sustainably sourced patchouli from Sulawesi, Indonesia, renowned for its intensity and high quality. The patchouli roots are dug up as part of the soil cultivation process. Fifteen months after harvesting, replacement plants are planted so that the soil can replenish its nutrients. The improved cultivation method not only secures the livelihoods of the farmers, but also helps to preserve the soil.
We are proud that this collection has a 100% vegan formulation* and, like all our products, is manufactured in our climate-neutral production facility in Elsenham, South East England. In addition, our plastic bottles are made from 50% recycled plastic to reduce waste.
