Memo Paris - Tamarindo
The rhythmic dance of the drums, jasmine essence. The rustling of the emerald green leaves of the guanacaste tree. The pineapple shines in all its facets and becomes a flower under the sun of cardamom. Embedded in a splash of bergamot. The hour when the vanilla begins to glow red.
When the scent of benzoin carries me away, when the surf turns my heart to patchouli, I return to Tamarindo, where images can be seen in the jungle. Between giant spiders and happy lizards, inspiration is like a sensual fragrance.

Mehr über Memo Paris
Aliénor Massenet, perfumer for the Parisian label Memo, has had a passion for fragrances from a very young age. This passion was awakened by her Hungarian grandfather, a chemist who worked with all kinds of organic essences in his basement. On her way to school on the metro, Aliénor made it her mission to identify the perfumes of her fellow passengers.
Her enthusiasm for fragrances continued and proved decisive for her professional career. Massenet did not train as a perfumer, but studied art history and psychology, partly to please her parents. However, she worked for the ‘big names’ in the industry from the outset: Firmenich, L'Oréal, Florasinth and IFF, to name but a few. There she learned the beloved craft of perfumery from the ground up and first-hand – as an assistant to such illustrious names as Bertrand Duchaufour, Carlos Benaïm, Pierre Wargnye and Sophia Grojsman, among others, with whom she worked for many years.
Now Aliénor Massenet is herself one of the great perfumers and, together with Clara Malloy, has fulfilled a lifelong dream: Memo, her own label, whose inspirations come from travel, dreams and a general exuberant zest for life. All the fragrances she presents to us are named after and dedicated to a specific place on earth – ‘a memorable olfactory journey’ to which we cordially invite you.
