A fragrance reminiscent of the captivating energy of the Northern Lights and the warmth of a cosy wooden house. Crimson cottages line the small harbour. The village is characterised by contrasts. Flåm lies on the road that crosses the majestic glacier valleys, where memories of Viking ships are still alive.
As soon as the first rays of sunshine return, a lush valley in endless colours is revealed. The waterfalls sing. The landscape becomes even more intense as you dive into the depths of the fjord, where the sea meets fresh water. The heart of Flåm beats.
The combination of natural ingredients such as bergamot, bitter orange, aromatic clary sage and sambac jasmine create a hint of radiant freshness. They swirl around gentle, lively notes of cedarwood. Ingredients such as tonka bean, vanilla pod and sweet white musk, paired with soothing mineral amber, evoke a pleasant feeling of home.
The artistically decorated, traditional longship Drakkar sets sail – graceful, powerful yet light, designed for speed. Full speed ahead from the deep blue fjord with towering mountains and thundering waterfalls.

Mehr über Memo Paris
Aliénor Massenet, perfumer for the Parisian label Memo, has had a passion for fragrances from a very young age. This passion was awakened by her Hungarian grandfather, a chemist who worked with all kinds of organic essences in his basement. On her way to school on the metro, Aliénor made it her mission to identify the perfumes of her fellow passengers.
Her enthusiasm for fragrances continued and proved decisive for her professional career. Massenet did not train as a perfumer, but studied art history and psychology, partly to please her parents. However, she worked for the ‘big names’ in the industry from the outset: Firmenich, L'Oréal, Florasinth and IFF, to name but a few. There she learned the beloved craft of perfumery from the ground up and first-hand – as an assistant to such illustrious names as Bertrand Duchaufour, Carlos Benaïm, Pierre Wargnye and Sophia Grojsman, among others, with whom she worked for many years.
Now Aliénor Massenet is herself one of the great perfumers and, together with Clara Malloy, has fulfilled a lifelong dream: Memo, her own label, whose inspirations come from travel, dreams and a general exuberant zest for life. All the fragrances she presents to us are named after and dedicated to a specific place on earth – ‘a memorable olfactory journey’ to which we cordially invite you.
