A unisex fragrance based on essence of Ambrette and Ambergris combined with a surprising blend of Magnolia, pineapple and green apple. The heart is a mix between spices and Iris. The base note is a musky sandalwood which is associated with Ambergris. It is also the fragrance with the highest quantity of Ambrette oil and Ambergris on the market.
A collection of emotions
This new range of 4 refined, cutting-edge perfumes completes the collection of 8 existing fragrances. Each accord, vibrant with emotion, where masculine and feminine merge, tells the story of life as well as its intimate moments.
Vibrant cases
Dressed in glass and fitted with an Art Deco cap, the oval, minimalist Mark Buxton bottles reflect a baroque and punk spirit.
The Freedom Collection
It was in a little confidential workshop in the middle of Paris, a place of research much like a laboratory is, that Mark Buxton fragrances were born. Traditionally hand-made with the utmost creative freedom, these fragrances hold the very best materials, all of which are meticulously chosen and measured. With us, the profession of perfumer links back to its origins in nobility, with the artisanal process at the heart of the operation. Marketing and trends do not have their place here. From a blank sheet of paper, each olfactory partition is decided upon by the desires and visions of the two master perfumers. Raw materials fall into place much like a puzzle, with no piece left out of place. The notes are chosen, and harmonies conceived all for the sole purpose of delivering an olfactory melody and to give skin itself an emotion.
Across generations — The master perfumers
Mark Buxton
Originally British-born, Mark Buxton fell madly in love with Paris 30 years ago. This hedonist is one of the pioneers when it comes to the niche perfume market. After over 25 years collaborating with many of the top brands in the sector (Versace, Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Karl Lagerfeld, Burberry, Cartier…), he decides to create his open workshop to find the artistic freedom that he has longed for. A talented perfumer recognized by his peers, he has also signed the first Comme des Garçons fragrance. Nowadays, he expresses every facet of his personality and creative mind through his own eponymous brand.
David Chieze
David Chieze is a passionate, self educated young man. Far from conventional paths into perfumery, he gradually became the man he is today through his various encounters and research he’s done. With olfaction consistently being a mainstay in his life, he humbly got into the business by becoming a salesperson for L’Artisan Parfumeur. During his time there, he meets Bertrand Duchaufour, renowned perfumer, who leaves him with the keys to the shop, allowing him to work in the evenings on his very first projects. It is also Duchaufour that introduces and recommends him to Mark Buxton.
