The inspiration for Cuir Fétiche, which translates as ‘leather fetish’, came during a trip through the south-east of France. While visiting Millau, where he was researching a new collection of gloves, Jean Paul Millet Lage discovered a wonderful shop full of leather of all types and colours.
The room, which was closed off by a heavy oak door, had a very special atmosphere thanks to the typical scent of leather. And just like that, the idea was born: a perfume that is heavy and sensual, animalistic and floral at the same time. The skins shine in colours reminiscent of fruits and flowers: the vibrant orange of mandarin, the velvety violet of iris and the immaculate white of jasmine.
The idea for Cuir Fétiche finally matured in the minds of the perfumers to become an eau de parfum that is both sensual and opulent. Cuir Fétiche naturally finds its place in the ‘Accords Mystères’ collection for women. A typical creation by Maître Parfumeur et Gantier: highly original and modern, precisely because of its harmony of leather, which in turn is built on the classic base of the brand's favourite ingredients: jasmine, ambergris, rose and musk.
Cuir Fétiche offers an intimate harmony that describes an extremely feminine personality. This is achieved with the longing for red mandarins and vanilla, refined by ylang-ylang and jasmine and the unique sensuality of leather.
