Like a shooting star illuminating the desert sky, OUD satin mood - here as an extrait de parfum - leaves behind an opulent glow. In this creation by Francis Kurkdjian, an abundance of roses from Turkey and Bulgaria round off the deep oud. Animal tones play with their sensuality before delicately enveloping the violet blossoms.
Opulent boldness
In this interpretation as an extrait de parfum, the perfumer has retained the classic olfactory character of this oud fragrance without losing sight of its original inspiration. An opulent explosion of the most important notes has been created, creating a completely new harmony. While Oud Satin Mood as an eau de parfum evokes the sensual movement of silk, the extrait de parfum shows the reflections of various oriental fabrics.
Oud Mood
The collection was created during the long tête-à-tête with the exquisite raw material in the creation of oud and depicts various interpretations of the perfume. Kurkdjian sees the three fragrances as sensations, as emotions - as if one were wrapped in a fragrant stole. They provide cosiness and warmth. They are precious, intense and concentrated.
Each fragrance is presented in a blue lacquered bottle adorned with a golden lid. A golden plaque bears the name of the fragrance and emphasises its preciousness. The box cover has the same lattice window pattern as the classic ‘Oud’ and is also in blue.
