Francis Kurkdjian takes up a familiar theme in perfumery, but once again moves off the beaten track and overcomes conventions.
‘l'Homme à la rose is my free interpretation of a rose for men.’ Francis Kurkdjian
A fragrance for men
A new creation for men that follows an exemplary story within the Maison Francis Kurkdjian. The name evokes inspiration, an olfactory theme and the freedom of creation - all in one.
The rose in masculine fragrances
There are practically no men's fragrances in which you can smell the rose, because in order to obtain a masculine character, the rose note is mixed with dark notes such as spices and patchouli, oud or leather ... The rose scent disappears in favour of very strong archetypal notes that hide its freshness and identity.
Nevertheless, Francis Kurkdjian chose a fresh, bright, striking rose for his new creation. And he achieved this real challenge by exploring and utilising the green and fruity facets of the rose in a more targeted way.
‘Today, with this fresh and radiant eau de parfum, I give men the strength to wear a rose. At the centre of this fragrance portrait is a duo of damask roses from Bulgaria and centifolia roses from Grasse, combined with the fruity signature of a grapefruit note, intertwined with a modern woody accord.’
A fresh and radiant rose for men: the story of an affirmation, that of the man of today who embraces a universal feminine symbol. Men also have a right to the rose! Everyone is free to imagine a man with a rose ...
