Arnaud played with two basic chords from De Laire: one with leather and one with incense. He had the idea that they would go well together and so they did! After a careful process of balancing, the composition was ready, it felt powerful and mysterious.
Encens Superfluide / The frankincense trade route runs through Oman, where the resin is more valuable than gold. A subtle insertion by the perfumer on this mythical substance: the icy, almost soap-bubble appearance of frankincense (aldehyde C12), which is feminine and flirts with its super masculine counterpart: a blend of leather and amber (labdanum, castoreum) that flexes its muscles. Better than unisex: this obliging perfume knows how to keep the distance of elegance.

Superfluidity is a characteristic property of a liquid with a complete lack of viscosity or internal friction, which therefore flows without loss of kinetic energy. When stirred, a superfluid forms cellular vortices that continue to rotate indefinitely.
