The luminous softness of pear and hazelnut meets the refined warmth of roasted sesame and cardamom. A vibrant heart of orange blossom, cinnamon, and freesia opens onto an enveloping base of vanilla, gaïac wood, ambroxan, and musk. A cottony, almost milky softness. Les Eaux Primordiales is an idea conceived by Jules Verne, referring to a water that contains all the original sources of life on Earth. With his academic background in engineering, his passion for quantum physics, a hyperkinetic mind and his long-standing passion for fragrances, it was time for Arnaud Poulain's vision to come to life. The aim of Les Eaux Primordiales is to reconcile design with traditional French haute parfumerie.


PRECISION / To create perfumes like an engineer, each ingredient must be like the cog in a high-precision watch.


MODERNITY / Minimalism, brutalism, modernism – the inspirations are numerous. The work of photographers Bernd and Hilla Becher was his main reference throughout the creative process from the very beginning.


HAUTE PARFUMERIE / From the use of the finest ingredients to the development of a unique maceration and maturation process, the aim is to create exceptional fragrances.
