The scent of fire.
Histoires de Parfums is now moving away from abstraction and towards light and fire, presenting two new fragrances that are part of the ‘This is not a Blue Bottle’ manifesto. 1.2 is refracted light, a glittering explosion, the source of new energy. From this pulsating flash, ‘This is not a blue Bottle 1.3’ develops: a blazing circle, fiery raw materials and the birth of all passions. A molten ring, the origin of new energy. A blood-red sun rises above a pink and saffron-yellow ring, releasing the endless power of leather. 1.3 is the perfume of fire, and the bottle symbolises the sun and the cycle of life.
This is not a blue Bottle is the allegory of a fragrant Big Bang, a journey from abstraction to the most intense emotions in infinite blue.
Perfume creator
Gérald Ghislain writes his own story to the unbridled rhythm that characterises passionate people. He enjoys all the pleasures of life, enriching his everyday life with carefully selected luxuries. As a passionate fragrance lover, he invests his entire being in his projects. With insatiable curiosity, he listens, reads, discovers and draws on his imagination and countless journeys and encounters. His adventures began behind the stove. He is still a happy restaurateur today, owning a restaurant and bar in Paris. An enlightened art lover, he founded the flamenco show ‘Sentires’ in 2004, which toured around the world.
However, perfume is his eternal, timeless passion. After completing a solid education at the renowned ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum et de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire) perfume school in Versailles, Gérald founded Histoires de Parfums in 1999, creating a collection of rare and fine fragrances. With the launch of his brand Histoires de Parfums, Gérald Ghislain has created culinary fragrance stories that, just like books, evoke deep emotions.
