Histoires de Parfums is now moving away from abstraction towards light and fire, presenting two new fragrances that are part of the This is not a Blue Bottle manifesto. 1.2 is refracted light, a glittering explosion, the source of new energy.
An explosion, a broken prism, refracted light, a swirl of colours and notes. White is the result of the combination of all colours, a luminous equation, a fragrant refraction. The virtues of infinite colours are revealed: joy, happiness, sensuality, energy. Ivy, lilac and lily of the valley allow sandalwood and white musk to shine in a milky light.
The perfume of light represents birth and the beginning.
From this pulsating flash, This is not a Blue Bottle 1.3 emerges: a blazing circle, fiery raw materials and the birth of all passions.
This is not a Blue Bottle is the allegory of a fragrant Big Bang, a journey from abstraction to the most intense emotions in infinite blue.
Perfume creator
Gérald Ghislain writes his own story in the unbridled rhythm that characterises passionate people. He enjoys all the pleasures of life, enriching his everyday life with carefully selected luxuries. As a passionate fragrance lover, he invests his entire being in his projects. With insatiable curiosity, he listens, reads, discovers and draws on his imagination and countless travels and encounters. His adventures began behind the stove. He is still a happy restaurateur today, owning a restaurant and bar in Paris. An enlightened art lover, he founded the flamenco show ‘Sentires’ in 2004, which toured around the world.
However, perfume is his eternal, timeless passion. After completing a solid education at the renowned ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum et de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire) perfume school in Versailles, Gérald founded Histoires de Parfums in 1999, creating a collection of rare and fine fragrances. With the launch of his brand Histoires de Parfums, Gérald Ghislain has created culinary fragrance stories that, just like books, evoke deep emotions.
