Enhancing life discreetly has been the motto of our creative work on room fragrances from the very beginning. The Perfume Guns are a new variation on this proven idea. Originally intended for use in hotels, Frédéric Malle liked this new technique so much that he adapted it for home use. The Perfume Gun creates a fragrant atmosphere with immediate effect, and with regular use, the perfume permeates the room and gives it a special scent.

Frédéric Malle did not turn to leading figures in functional perfumery, as is usually the case, but to specialists in the fine art of perfumery to develop his new room fragrance line. This was probably a reaction to the many ‘odour eliminators’ that have invaded our lives.
When Frédéric Malle began launching his perfumes in 2000, he established the principle that a perfume should blend with the skin and become one with the wearer. He now applies this principle to his home fragrance collection, so that it becomes an integral part of our homes – after all, this is where we spend most of our time.
All the creators of the various room fragrances are also committed to the idea that a perfume should not dominate. A fragrance should be part of our lives, not mask it. The palette of scents in our lives is a complex interplay of different elements, and this room fragrance collection is designed to make it even more beautiful.
