We are always concerned about the environmental impact of our perfumes and therefore focus on sustainability in everything we do—from start to finish. Our paper packaging is FSC-certified to promote environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable forest management worldwide. Our glass supplier pursues a sustainable development policy by choosing solutions that minimize the environmental impact of production processes. Our perfumers rely on natural and sustainable raw materials that not only create powerful fragrances but also respect local producer communities and the environment. Our perfumes are made with beetroot alcohol and no colorings are added. They are 86 to 93% natural.

Cruelty-free – vegan – phthalate-free.

Our approach
At Essential Parfums, we believe that haute perfumery at an affordable price is not only possible, but also the best way forward. By cutting out the middleman and foregoing traditional advertising methods, we can save costs that would otherwise compromise the quality of the fragrances. We then pass these savings on to you. Our design reflects this conviction: Each elegant glass bottle highlights the precious contents and is simply inscribed with the name of the fragrance and the perfumer.

Our story

With more than 25 years of experience in the perfume industry, we founded Essential Parfums with a rebellious spirit and a mission to revive the essence of haute parfumerie. At Essential Parfums, we are guided by a simple approach: we give perfumers carte blanche for their creations, without constraints or limits. We work with the world's finest master perfumers and source the best and most sustainable ingredients wherever possible to transform them into fragrant masterpieces. The result is a range of uniquely luxurious fragrances at an affordable price – in environmentally friendly packaging.


We founded this brand to share our true passion for the art of fragrance – so our priority will always be the fragrance itself, not the trappings that might surround it (such as fancy bottles, advertising expenses and licensing fees, which would dilute the essence of perfumery). As for the ingredients themselves, they are rare in the fragrance world due to their high cost and the complexity of working with natural materials. But we know they are worth the effort to create perfumes that do justice to every single note. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, which is why we focus on a precious handful of natural ingredients rather than a cacophony of synthetic substances. A distinctive fragrance should speak for itself.
