Inspiration: A tribute to Grasse know-how. A stroll through Grasse, the city of a thousand scents, the city of leather craftsmanship and flowers. The bells toll, night falls over the serene hills of the city, the tuberoses exhale their narcotic fragrance. Uniting dusky tuberose with tanned leather—an homage to the heritage of Grasse.

Tuberose absolute Grasse enfleurage
Originally from Mexico, it was introduced to the fields of Grasse in the 16th century. Capricious, rare, and demanding, it draws a lot of energy from the soil, and its bulbs must be uprooted to prevent them from freezing in winter. The flowering period is short in summer, and the flower is harvested at sunset, when its fragrance is most intense. Each flower used in the fragrance was manually placed, one by one, into a frame lined with vegetable fat, allowing it to absorb the scent—a craft dating back to ancient times. Having disappeared from Grasse in the 1970s, it was reintroduced in the early 2000s to restore it to the heritage of Grasse.
