More about Von Eusersdorff
The name Von Eusersdorff is a historical legacy of the company's founders: a talented family of German immigrants who have played an important role in the trade of precious oils, herbs and flowers for almost three centuries. This family mastered the craftsmanship that made the art of perfumery as we know it today possible.
Camille Henfling, who initiated the rebirth of this brand, is a descendant of the Von Eusersdorff family. Originally a businessman, Henfling felt the urge to explore the traditions of his ancestors. It was an idea that naturally brought his family heritage back to mind. He remembered the air filled with scents in his grandfather's pharmacy, where he grew up. He remembered his holidays in Costa Rica, where he explored the rich aromatic textures of the warehouse on his family's plantation... or the days he spent wandering around the herb and spice warehouses in Holland.
Henfling logically moved to the perfume mecca of Grasse in the south of France. Within three years, he learned everything there was to know about creating a perfume and the process that goes into it. Gradually, he also got to know talented laboratory assistants who still work with him today. This period revived the traditions of his ancestors. Traditional perfume making rooted in 21st-century olfactory interpretations.
Each of the fragrances confirmed the brand's ability to compose ‘inspiring’ fragrances for men and women.
