The areas of the body that develop more odour than others are those where our soul gathers. Intense smells have become unpleasant to us – because an excess of soul is unbearable to the senses. Our innate animalistic tendencies are suppressed by civilisation. This project is my garden, which I have planted, fertilised, cultivated – and harvested.
‘Orto Parisi’ allows us to experience our bodies as gardens, whose scents are the true mirror of our souls.
