Who hasn't heard of Yosemite National Park? The third oldest national park in America is a dream destination for many visitors to the USA and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Located in the state of California, Yosemite stretches along the western side of the Sierra Nevada and is home to a wide variety of animals and plants. In addition to its biodiversity, it owes its fame to its groves of giant sequoia trees that are thousands of years old, its granite cliffs and, last but not least, its waters, rivers and countless waterfalls.
The most significant waterfall in Yosemite Park and, as such, one of the most famous in the world is undoubtedly the one that bears the same name – Yosemite Falls. With its impressive height of 739 metres, the three-tiered waterfall is one of the highest in the world, especially as some of its counterparts rarely carry water. The Ahwahnechee, the indigenous people of Yosemite Valley, revered both Yosemite Falls and its surroundings as a sacred place – which is obvious to everyone else given its beauty.
Yosemite is as spirited, passionate and fresh as the water cascading down Yosemite Falls. The radiance of hesperides opens the fragrance – a motif that is celebrated throughout. The dynamic liveliness of citrus, tart tartness and juicy-sweet ripeness of citrus fruits evoke memories of traditional cologne classics. But Yosemite doesn't stop there: it complements the still life with the fruitiness of red berries, accentuated by a pinch of pink pepper and framed by herbaceous, serious lavender. Cedar adds woody notes, while Yosemite is refined in the finish with buttery soft, velvety suede accompanied by musky softness.
