Juruá owes its name to the Juruá River, which originates in the Peruvian Andes. From there, it flows northward, crossing large parts of Brazil before finally emptying into the Amazon. The landscape along the banks of the Juruá is characterised by rainforest: untouched nature, flora and fauna whose richness and diversity are considered unrivalled worldwide. In 2018, part of the Juruá region was declared a protected area under the Ramsar Convention due to its significance.
The perfume named after the Juruá is as multifaceted and diverse as its home: it opens with citrus fruits, radiating freshness and dynamism. The heart of Juruá picks up on the fruitiness with velvety rose blossoms, further developing it with hints of red berries. Jasmine completes the wildly romantic bouquet with a creamy softness. This floral duet is masterfully contrasted by an ingredient that is characteristic of Brazil – coffee. Subtly smoky, powdery-delicate and kissed with cocoa, this precious ingredient carries the fragrance into the base notes. Characterised by ambergris and musk, Juruá finishes with sensual elegance.
