Parfum de Santé – Fragrances from Cologne
Olfactive Pharmacy is a fragrance brand founded in 2020 by two pharmacists, Oliver and Holger Dubben, from Cologne. Their approach to fragrances and niche perfumery combines traditional knowledge from pharmacognosy (herbal medicine) with modern alchemy and contemporary luxury: the luxury of well-being, self-awareness and appreciation of the environment and nature. Olfactive Pharmacy combines all this in a sophisticated and elegant way in an incomparable collection of the highest quality ‘Parfums de Santé’ – fragrances that reflect a lifestyle of premium enjoyment and health (Healthylux/Healthyglam).
Cologne is Germany's traditional perfume city – internationally famous names such as Farina and Eau de Cologne, which were already highly appreciated by Napoleon and Goethe, resonate here. Against the backdrop of this great tradition, but with a contemporary, visionary interpretation, Cologne pharmacists Oliver and Holger Dubben founded their brand Olfactive Pharmacy.
Each fragrance focuses on a healing plant whose bark, flowers, fruits or roots are proven to have healing properties. The scent of the healing plant is captured, either factually or emotionally, and intelligently interpreted and masterfully composed to create a truly satisfying fragrance experience that balances elegance and well-being.
The bottle design of the fragrances from Olfactive Pharmacy deserves special attention. Inspired by traditional brown glass apothecary bottles, the design has been cleverly translated into the present day. The specially designed cap consists of a hexagonal stopper and the neck of the bottle, thus subtly imitating the typical silhouette of an apothecary bottle.
Lithographs of the selected medicinal plants for each fragrance are designed in white, as is the valuable outer packaging, symbolising freshness and modernity; perfectly balanced with the traditional and classic design and colours of brown and gold.
