More about Naomi Goodsir
Naomi Goodsir is an Australian designer who started out as a milliner. After graduating in fashion design in Sydney and training under Elsa Schiaparelli, Naomi turned her attention to designing exclusive headwear. She worked as a milliner for over 10 years, creating and sewing unique pieces in strict accordance with the traditions of chapellerie. Her profession took her all over the world, including the English National Opera, one of London's two major opera houses. Naomi worked with many renowned fashion designers in Australia and around the world, creating wonderful hats for their fashion shows and collections. In 2008, Naomi began to express her creativity in the form of handbags and accessories for women and men who were looking for exclusive items with alternative designs.
In 2012, Naomi Goodsir presented her first two perfumes, which are as unique and exclusive as her hats, handbags and accessories.
Naomi Goodsir Perfumes fits perfectly into the long tradition of independent perfume houses. Behind the fragrances is a very special creator who, through her visions and unique style, inspires compositions that reflect her own universe. Elegant, timeless and daring perfumes created from precious and pure materials – memories of an era when the use of perfume was a precious gesture and a sign of courtesy.
The perfumers masterfully captured Naomi's microcosm. Both Isabelle Doyen from Goutal and Julien Rasquinet, trained by Pierre Bourdon, were proud to work with Naomi Goodsir. The ‘invisible but fragrant accessories’ beautifully and sensitively represent the world that surrounds Naomi.
Naomi Goodsir's perfumes are made and hand-packaged on the Côte d'Azur near Grasse, where Naomi lives and works.
