Un Cuore di Cuoio

Packaging that leads to new discoveries. All Orto Parisi fragrances are concealed in a box that unfolds in individual facets, with an opening in the centre hinting at infinity. The scent of Cuoium floats in a glass bottle with a cap made of oxidised metal with an original inlay of vegetable-tanned leather. The label, made of natural white paper, has the feel of Savile Row tweed and features an extremely fine herringbone structure. This perfume is the first in the Orto Parisi line to be offered with a reusable, removable leather case.

The areas of the body that develop more odour than others are those where our soul gathers. Intense smells have become unpleasant to us – because an excess of soul is unbearable to the senses. Our innate animalistic tendencies are suppressed by civilisation. This project is my garden, which I have planted, fertilised, cultivated – and harvested.


‘Orto Parisi’ allows us to experience our bodies as gardens, whose scents are the true mirror of our souls.

Bitte vom Titel nicht abschrecken lassen! :D
Ich muss zugeben, im ersten Moment erinnerte mich das Parfum an etwas rohes, an Blut, es ist sehr intensiv. Aber das ist quasi nur der erste „Schreck“ vor dem Unbekannten. Danach wird es weicher und extrem ledrig aber auch würzig wie frischer scharfer Kardamom und Wacholder. Der Duft war ein Geschenk für meinen Mann, er mochte bisher Tuscan Leather sowie Ombré Leather von TF. Wer mit den beiden was anfangen kann aber es brutaler aber individueller will, der wird mit Cuoium seinen Signatureduft finden. Der Flakon erinnert mich irgendwie an das Necronomicon aus Ash vs. Evil Dead.
