More about Masque Milano
Masque — this is the story of the two founders Alessandro and Riccardo. Two guys who share many passions. A passion for travelling and music. They love design objects, natural materials and handcrafted decorations. They believe in and tirelessly strive for a working life full of dedication, as well as joie de vivre and enjoyment. Both are incorrigible dreamers who are determined to express their feelings.
In the momentous year of 2010 — after long years of research with noses in Grasse and artists across Italy — they founded Masque and launched their first product line: Masque Milano was born, and like a conductor must, they learnt how to coordinate a large and hand-picked team of master perfumers and artists.
Fascinated by perfumes and fine fragrances, they wanted to expand their background knowledge and began training in fragrance techniques and felt quite comfortable in the tantalising world of noses and raw materials. They started writing down memories and soon had a collection of “scenes” together, representing moments from their past, places they had visited, friendships and loves, feelings, déjà vu and recurring dreams.
"If only we could bring each of these scenes to life, we would reveal our innermost selves, hovering over an absolutely intimate and inescapable private point of view to see things from a universal perspective."
Not only conductors, they also became playwrights and opera directors, in whose acts and scenes young and talented noses — rising stars in the world of perfumery — wore their masks and played their parts.
