If there's one thing we learned in chemistry class at school, it's that contact between two chemical substances can trigger a reaction. A reaction caused by a smell can arouse desire and excitement and even transcend time as we know it.
The founder and creator of Hunq, Hyun Yeu, was searching for the ultimate male fragrances and simply bottled them. But what does a man smell like? And if it smells unpleasant, would I wear it? Yes, you would, and you will. ‘We imagine certain types of men and their scents. It's all about chemistry.’ And that's where pheromones come in. Hyun's search for the scents of the male archetype was fuelled and ignited by his own memories of the smells of people, objects, first dates and the infinite variety of perfume ingredients. Not a conventional blend of ingredients, but surprisingly delicious nonetheless.
A process that has so far produced five fascinatingly beautiful fragrances. An endless study, with more to follow. And not just for men, but for women too.
