More about Erik Kormann
Erik Kormann is clearly a colourful personality: born in 1966, he worked as a carpenter, archaeological excavation technician, camera assistant and photojournalist after completing his schooling and went on to complete a master's degree in cultural studies, aesthetics, gender studies and musicology. Naturally, at some point he stumbled across fragrances, for which he developed a passion that he would never let go of and which would have a lasting influence on his future career.
Since 2001, the likeable Berliner has been running his wonderful shop 1000 & 1 Seife with his partner Xenia Trost, which can now be found in Hackesche Höfe. A soap workshop where you can buy handmade soaps made with love in individually designed packaging for every purpose. From ‘normal’ handwashing soap to shampoo soap, baby soap, exfoliating soap and shaving soap, you will hardly find a soap that Erik Kormann cannot produce and offer. He displays many of them in his constantly growing soap collection with exhibits from all over the world, which you can marvel at on site.
In addition to soaps, Erik Kormann has created a whole range of extraordinary fragrances, which we are proud to present to you here.
