A fruity, floral, musky fragrance. The divine delicacy of cherry blossom is graceful and has been combined with radiant notes of lychee and juicy pear. Sweet pea adds a romantic character to the perfume, while the sensual heart of patchouli is reflected in crystalline musk.
matsu sakura. Designer Masaki Matsushima was inspired by the sakura blossom, a cherry blossom rich in symbolism, often associated with grace, transience and exquisite beauty. Cherry trees are everywhere in Japan. Their blossoms herald the arrival of spring and are celebrated during the cherry blossom festival, Hanami, which translates as ‘flower viewing’. This is a traditional custom that involves savouring the fleeting beauty of the blossoms.
With this new fragrance, Masaki reinvents the word ‘delicacy’ from a unique and contemporary perspective.
The woman who wears matsu sakura is herself like a delicate cherry blossom, ready to blossom and reveal her romantic personality to the world and open her tender soul to love. Her divine aura lends extreme sensuality to her delicate, trusting personality.
The matsu sakura fragrance is delicate and fresh like a sunrise on a spring morning. A minimalist and clear design with sleek decoration, symbolising freshness and femininity. The round bottle, characteristic of the matsu line, appears here in matt glass with a delicate pink cap. The lettering, also pink, reflects the feminine and romantic spirit conceived by the designer.
The packaging
The outer packaging of matsu sakura is covered with a delicate rose, drawing attention to the extraordinary delicacy of the fragrance. The complementary pure white colour lends elegance and freshness to this cubic presentation.
The subtle relief elements, the sakura blossom and the matsu tree are the poetic signature of this unique presentation.
