More about Casa de Coca
Casa de Coca invites you to immerse yourself in the mystical cosmos of the Peruvian Andes and experience how the Incas used the coca leaf. A tribute to the leaf with healing and energising powers. In Peru, it is still used today in ceremonies, as a source of energy and as a remedy. Casa de Coca was founded by German-Peruvian Beatrice Graf. She lives in Munich and works as Beauty Lead at Vogue Digital. Out of personal emotional attachment, respect and responsibility, Casa de Coca will integrate and promote government initiatives in education and health in Peru.
Bertrand Duchaufour
Renowned French perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour is responsible for creating the fragrances. Thanks to his excellent work for fashion houses such as Dior, Givenchy and Comme des Garçons, Duchaufour is known for his extravagant and multi-layered signature style. Due to the restrictions surrounding the sacred leaf, he interprets the Inca cosmos with a modern vision. Following a joint trip to the Peruvian Andes, three fragrances mark the launch of Casa de Coca.
Christian von der Heide
The brand's visual identity and the design of the bottle cap were created by Hamburg-based product designer Christian von der Heide. A coca leaf from Peru served as the inspiration for an organic yet modern metal embellishment. Their different colours reflect the aura of each fragrance. The colour scheme is continued in the stamps that seal the flacon packaging instead of cellophane. Christian von der Heide has already worked for brands such as Dita Von Teese Parfums, Mafalda von Hessen and Y3, the collaboration between Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto.
