Breathe in, breathe out
Breathe in and immerse yourself in the scents that fill the air. Can you feel it? There are thousands of scents in the air that make our skin tingle and transport us through time and space. Each of our products offers an experience based on a specific time and place. They tell stories and evoke memories. Botanicae is your passport to a journey through your senses. We were born with the challenge of capturing an adventure in a bottle. We want to promote sustainable access to artistic perfumery, away from large, impersonal marketing campaigns and the barriers of extreme luxury.
We have always been travellers, business people and curious. In 2012, we began our journey in the perfume industry and were fortunate to learn a great deal in the Middle East. There, perfume is a culture and every household knows the ingredients and their blends are passed down from generation to generation. Together with multinational companies in the industry, we worked with the region's historic brands, coordinating formulation and supply chains while engaging in endless conversations over tea. The Emirates, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, India, Pakistan... Our experience grew, as did the areas in which we worked, and we began to travel through East Africa and South Asia. It was an exciting time that taught us to open our eyes to other cultures, their smells and traditions. At the end of 2018, we reached the Mediterranean and we returned home, from where we continued to travel while putting down roots. It was then that we decided to set out and share the experiences of all these years in a sustainable, human and honest way. Now we distil our stories to extract their essence and preserve them through our perfumes. This is how Botanicae was born. A company where we work and live intensely to continue surprising you.
Philosophy
Discover the places that inspired our Eaux de Parfum. We make all perfumes with unique care and attention. All our compositions are suitable for vegans, as we do not use any substances of animal origin in our products. We do not test any of our products on animals. Respect for animals is part of our philosophy and our commitment to the environment and nature.
Perfumes for people. We believe in diversity and unique personalities. Our fragrances belong to a skin without prejudice, which does not distinguish between genders. We reduce unnecessary costs and long distribution channels so that our products reach you without being prohibitively expensive. We believe that good perfumery should not be accessible only to a few. We track each of our ingredients with the aim of obtaining the most sustainable and environmentally friendly product possible.
