White, milky musk was the theme of Parfumerie Générale's Musc Maori No.4 – and it remains so in its evolution as Le Musc & La Peau No.4.1, a truly sensual, dynamic and woody perfume.
Inspiration
The reinterpretation of the milky, warm and sweet musk theme of ‘Musc Maori’ dispenses with the gourmet cocoa note and reimagines it with sensual balsams and warm wood notes.
Fragrance components
The completely new fragrance structure consists of bergamot and aldehydes that blend into a note of rosemary. The backbone of the perfume, white milk musk, remains clearly perceptible. Sandalwood and light ylang-ylang balance the perfume, while cedarwood essence adds a dry note to the fragrance. Ambroxan then gives this complex perfume a pure and clear skin note.
Perfumer Pierre Guillaume conceived ‘Le Musc & La Peau No.4.1’ as a fragrance that can be worn alone or mixed with a fresh, aromatic or floral perfume to expand its spectrum and personalise the scent aura.
