Lamar... Beauty in a name, beauty in a bottle, beauty in a fragrance. A name with French origins: Lumière, meaning light. Lamar is also known as liquid gold: fascinating and enticing. A fragrance that reflects the beauty of a golden sun on the horizon, with distant clouds mirroring the rich palette of colors. Shades of red, yellow, and gold majestically depict the effect of the sun. Lamar is also reminiscent of roses and jasmine floating in a Mediterranean breeze in a garden—with a view of the sea and the setting sun.
Lamar... luminous beauty.
Renowned perfumer Mark Buxton says of the creative process: “My inspiration was to create a rich, natural, warm and long-lasting fragrance using high-quality natural materials. It gives us the feeling of walking across a bed of roses or a field of jasmine – particularly feminine and sensual.
The slightly fruity top note was constructed from red berries, apple, a hint of pineapple and some spicy elements such as cardamom and coriander oil to give the fragrance a special signature. This is followed by a rich bouquet: Bulgarian rose oil and Turkish rose absolute, mixed with jasmine absolute and magnolia blossoms.
The strong and lively woody base consists of a combination of ambergris, cashmere, and cedarwood, rounded off with musk, vanilla, and moss. All in all, a unique, scented creation.
