Sandalwood is a fragrant tree with sturdy leaves that grows in the Indian state of Mysore. Its wood was often used to build temples, which still retain its penetrating scent today. Sandalwood oil has been used as a remedy for over 4,000 years and is a common fixative in perfumery. It is part of Hindu and Buddhist rituals, with the former often using its paste to make the bindi dot and the latter processing it into incense.

Room spray
A botanical cloud rises in the scent of Carrière Frères' room spray. Its faceted silhouette pays homage to antique apothecary jars and underlines the brand's botanical inspiration. The bottle, made from recycled and recyclable glass, is shaped like an apothecary bottle and is recognisable by its bluish colour. With an oak lid and a silver pump, the room spray is filled with a 100% natural alcohol base. Delicate floral illustrations adorn each side of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) paper packaging. There's no doubt about it: Carrière Frères' sustainable approach celebrates nature!
