"As the name implies, Blanche is a composition that deals with my perception of the colour white." Ben Gorham, creative force behind Byredo.
But that is not all, the fragrance is also dedicated to a very special person, Gorham reveals: "For the first time I had a specific person in mind when I created this fragrance. I wanted to capture the innocent and unspoiled side of her personality in an almost transparent fragrance. The perfume is a tribute to her timeless beauty, a pure and straightforward structured fragrance that boasts an extreme nature."
Gorham also sees Blanche as the beginning of day in which sunlight fills the still fresh morning air, permeating its way into the room through light linen curtains to leave bright stripes on the wooden floor boards.
