Guidelines for Competitions

The organiser of this competition is PWV Online GmbH | Aus Liebe zum Duft.

1) Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all competitions on all media channels of PWV Online GmbH | Aus Liebe zum Duft, hereinafter referred to as ‘platform(s)’.

as well as all other publications by PWV Online GmbH | Aus Liebe zum Duft.

2) General conditions of participation

A delivery address in Germany must be provided. We reserve the right to subsequently exclude participants who do not have a delivery address in Germany. Further specific conditions for participation in the competition will be announced in the competition text.

3) Duration of the competition

The duration of the competition – start and end date and time – is based on the individual details in the competition text. In special cases, we reserve the right to change the competition conditions during the duration of the competition or to cancel the competition.

4) Prizes

All participants who meet the above-mentioned general conditions and the conditions specified in the competition text will be entered into the prize draw for the prizes specified in the competition text.

5) Prize draw

The prize draw will take place after the competition has ended. The winners will be announced on the platform(s) on which the competition was announced. The winners will not incur any further costs, such as shipping costs. If we do not receive any response from the winner within 14 days of the end of the competition, the prize will be forfeited and raffled again.

6) Liability

If the competition requires participants to interact, e.g. by leaving a comment or submitting a photograph, AUS LIEBE ZUM DUFT accepts no liability for the content of these contributions. It is strictly prohibited to publish illegal, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, violent, pornographic or youth-endangering content.

7) Right of use

Each participant in the competition also agrees that their contribution to this competition may be used by AUS LIEBE ZUM DUFT for marketing purposes. This includes, in particular, the use of images and text on the other platforms mentioned above.

8) Data protection

Consent to data processing (competition, advertising)

We process your personal data for the proper execution and handling of the competition and, in particular, for sending the prize.

In order to carry out the competition, the profile name and, if available, the first and last name of the respective participant are collected and stored.

In order to send the prize, we also collect the surname and first name as well as the address of the winner(s) and pass this data on to a shipping company commissioned by us. Your data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this.

The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfilment of a contract).

After the prize draw and determination of the winners, we will notify them on the basis of the contact details they have provided. The winners agree to the publication of their name and profile name. You acknowledge that information on the internet is accessible worldwide and can be easily copied and disseminated, and that there are specialised archiving services whose purpose is to permanently document the state of certain websites at specific points in time. This may mean that information published on the internet can still be found elsewhere even after it has been deleted from the original source.

After the competition has ended, your personal data processed in the context of the competition will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the competition, unless there is valid consent for further processing (e.g. with regard to the sending of newsletters) and/or we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store the data.

The applicable data protection law grants you the following rights as a data subject, provided that the respective legal requirements are met:

  • Right to erasure in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR

  • Right to withdraw consent pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR
