Filippo Sorcinelli's eleventh fragrance is a hymn to freedom. The emotional spark behind this new project is still the pentagram, as evidenced by the decoration on the bottle: it is music that moves, that falls like tears to create a desire for freedom: the aria from Handel's Rinaldo, ‘Lascia ch'io pianga’ – ‘Let me weep’. In reality, this is only the beginning, because the project continues to evolve and opens up a much clearer path: the concept of conquering a precious gift that every human being possesses and which today, more than ever, is becoming a fundamental value.
Filippo Sorcinelli wants to continue telling his human and artistic journey through the difficult conquest of this ‘absolute’, far from the many forms of slavery: fashions, advertising, prejudices. People only realise how important freedom is when it fails. And through everyone's experiences, the boundaries of prejudice are overcome in order to walk on a straight road, on a symbolically green surface indicated by an accompanying moon that bathes our faces in a warm and enveloping light. However, freedom, a suffering voice, does not mean that one can always do what one wants, because it must always be about rights and values. It is this new song that also makes us aware of our limits; it is this sigh far away from our breath that dispels the tangle of our uncertainties to finally show us our calling.
