The story of The Organic Pharmacy began over 25 years ago. Margo Marrone, owner and founder of the brand, worked part-time at her local pharmacy. She was fascinated by the amber-coloured bottles lined up in rows on the shelves. Margo watched with great interest as customers came in and asked her pharmacist for advice and help with their various ailments and illnesses. She was fascinated by how expertly he mixed remedies from the very same amber bottles that filled the shelves.

Margo decided to study pharmacy and six years later began her career as a pharmacist. She specialised in natural medicine, with a focus on herbal medicine, nutrition and well-being. It was not until a few years later that Margo discovered homeopathy for herself and her family, which completely changed her life. She left her job and trained as a homeopath.

After the birth of her first baby, Roksana, in 1998, it became increasingly important to her to keep chemicals and toxins away from her family as much as possible.

In 2002, she teamed up with her Italian husband Franco to found The Organic Pharmacy and opened her first shop on London's trendy Kings Road. Success came quickly and many customers remain loyal to the philosophy and products to this day. Several shops followed in London and in 2008 the first branch opened in Los Angeles.
