A high dose of iris makes the prelude to Silk! Oud, which is underpinned with fresh orange and lemon notes. After a short while, the oud builds in the background, joined a bit later by the plum note. Rather restrainedly fruity, as you would expect from the fruit itself, dark but not exotic. The oud gains more and more space and just radiates with its aura. Rose and cedar, as well as the base notes of musk, sandalwood and benzoin, provide the appropriate accompaniment to the concert of plum, iris and oud. The fragrance reveals itself rich and voluminous. However, it always remains elegant and does not carry animalic traits. In summary, a silky oriental fragrance wardrobe.

The perfume collection The Nose Behind is the olfactory diary and travel journal of Herbert Stricker, founder of The Nose Behind and Classic Parfums. The perfume collection The Nose Behind pays special attention to the fragrance raw materials. All energy has been put into developing the recipes. High concentrations of fragrance oils result in exceptional longevity and charisma. The most important goal of the collection was to create extravagant fragrances for connoisseurs.


Because of this special focus on the fragrance itself, Herbert Stricker wanted to keep all other components understated.
