Woody and powdery, yet warm and floral, the scent of iris is incredibly versatile, accompanied by a sophisticated, spicy-aromatic accord of cardamom, rosewood and lavender.
The fragrance becomes supple, as immaculate and delicate as white fur.
The aromas of pepper and Argentine lemon peel rise in the top notes of the fragrance, making it shine. Vanilla and musk add a creamy touch to the precious woody base of vetiver, patchouli and guaiac wood.
Modern phytoparfumery
The term ‘art’ primarily encompasses the products of the ‘fine arts’: architecture, sculpture, painting, music, dance and literature. Film is also often included as the seventh art.
The Black Collection comprises ten fragrance creations. What makes them special is that all the perfumes contain organic-quality natural plant ingredients combined with synthetic fragrance molecules – a synergy of natural, often organic essences and synthetic accords (phytoparfumery) that reflect the imagination of their creator, Pierre Guillaume.
Each of the Black Collection fragrances contains only two to three essences, breaking with the classic fragrance pyramid. The result is an elegant and unmistakably clear identity.
