Bright, complex, incredibly modern, Le Parfum de Thérèse was created in the early 1950s by Edmond Roudnitska. Never commercially produced, this perfume was a well-kept secret as Thérèse, Roudnitska’s wife – for whom it was created – was the only person allowed to wear it. Often described as “a masterpiece”, in part because its water fruit accord was 40 years ahead of its time, Le Parfum de Thérèse is also a very complex composition in which tangerine and melon give way to a rose and plum heart. Its base of cedar, vetiver and leather lends class and the irresistible appeal of the ultimate 50s elegance to this monument of perfumery. An unpublished vintage fragrance that is epitomic of this creator’s style.
