‘A perfume of joy and happiness.’ This is the perfume of happiness.
A ray of sunshine, radiant joy that enchants every moment. The warmth of coconut rose swings between sandalwood and white musk. Lively ecstasy. And suddenly, the horizon lights up in a manifestation of joy, framed by ozonic shades. A quiet glow of pink pepper warms our being and adds its mark to the great book of memories – coloured with the happiness of rose. Then, in a white embrace of lily of the valley and frangipani, we see ourselves safe and secure under the most favourable signs. Confident radiance, endless wonder, a ray of sunshine, gentle as a kiss of sandalwood and white musk. Glowing emotions of a vanilla-ethereal warmth that caresses us. Hearts open, souls blossom, intoxicated by the light, in a moment of gentle surrender.
7 – the magic number
In most cultures, the number 7 is associated with strong symbolism and great spirituality. Seven is a magical number, a lucky number, an undeniable charm, a happy number. On the seventh day, after seven seconds of reflection, Gérald Ghislain conceived This is not a Blue Bottle 1.7. A new perfume that joyfully illuminates the blue collection, which already consists of six multidimensional fragrances, characterised by a dazzling freshness and remaining true to the unconventional spirit of Histoires de Parfums.
Perfume creator
Gérald Ghislain writes his own story to the unbridled rhythm that characterises passionate people. He enjoys all the pleasures of life, enriching his everyday life with carefully selected luxuries. As a passionate fragrance lover, he invests his entire being in his projects. With insatiable curiosity, he listens, reads, discovers and draws on his imagination and countless journeys and encounters. His adventures began behind the stove. He is still a happy restaurateur today, owning a restaurant and bar in Paris. An enlightened art lover, he founded the flamenco show ‘Sentires’ in 2004, which toured around the world.
However, perfume is his eternal, timeless passion. After completing a solid education at the renowned ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum et de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire) perfume school in Versailles, Gérald founded Histoires de Parfums in 1999, creating a collection of rare and fine fragrances. With the launch of his brand Histoires de Parfums, Gérald Ghislain has created culinary fragrance stories that, just like books, evoke deep emotions.
