Inspired by the intoxicating smell of a Tuberose field at night, French Flower is built around an overdose of Tuberose, organically grown by Matière Première in the South of France. Ginger amplifies its whiteness. Green Tea Leaf Oil and a Green Pear accord underline its vegetal character.

‘My formulas are short. I want you to feel the natural beauty of the raw material at the heart of my perfumes. Our mission is in our name: Matière Première is French for raw material.’

The house produces its own roses and tuberoses, which are organically grown in the Grasse region.

‘I am the only perfumer who grows his own raw materials. We have great respect for nature and local expertise.’
